Unix Tools II

Lab

Examples

Examples are in the slides. The sources for the last three scripts are available as tar.gz or zip archive. I added empty files in the ./data directory and changed the scripts given in the slides slightly according to that. You should be able to run the *.sh scripts and get some output that's close to what was on the slides.

Exercises:

Look at the examples given above, PLAY WITH THEM, and comment them ('#' is the comment sign for shell scripts). Send in the commented versions before the next lecture.
