Tweedsmuir Glacier is surging. It appears to still be ongoing as of early September. In early August there seemed to be a large amount of water flowing from the southern part of the terminus. There are four pages of pictures here; 84 images in all. The images are in order of my flight path, starting from the south, flying over Turnback canyon, along the north edge of the terminus, up the north side, a few circles over the lower-mid glacier, then down the southern side, finishing where the southern side of the terminus drains into the Alsek.

        • looking down to the lower lake from the upper lake, is this the surge front?
